2018 Marketing and Communications Internship

Who We Are:

The Center for Hearing and Speech is a non-profit organization that has been committed to providing vital services to children with hearing loss so they can succeed in today’s hearing and speaking world for the past 70 years. Such services require highly specialized knowledge and experience, and the Center is proud to be the most comprehensive resource for pediatric hearing loss in the region.

This Term’s Priorities:

The annual gala is a major fundraising event that helps to raise over $500,000 for The Center for Hearing and Speech. The event is held on April 7, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Downtown. This year’s theme is “Reaching for the Stars.” For this event, the Marketing and Communications Intern will help the Marketing Manager produce a video, design and print a program, produce a full script and assist with the logistical details of the event.

The annual report for The Center for Hearing and Speech is an important document that we put together every year to communicate to the organization’s stakeholders the overall health of the organization. We collect all of the statistics and critical accomplishments for the year, compile the information and design a booklet that is distributed and mailed.
