This pre-launch stage startup is looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant who is willing to work hard and grow with the company. The Marketing Assistant will work directly with the Founder and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing programs. The successful candidate will perform phone vendor onboarding, inventory inspection through video calls, working on uploading data and report on results and findings. 

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Onboarding - Reaching out to potential vendors through emails and phone calls
  • Inventory inspection - Setup calendar invites with onboarded vendors and inspect inventory through video calls
  • Design email templates for automation -The website will need to send out automatic emails after several actions are performed. The design and wording of these emails need to be designed
  • Uploading listings to database through software - training will be provided on how to use the software
  • Customer/Client Relations - Post launch
  • Reach out to potential customers and engage them - Post launch
  • Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand
  • Collaborate with brand ambassadors to create innovative ways to gain exposure for client products
  • Be available as a resource for founder who may need assistance with completing other projects
  • Writing Blog posts
  • Managing company's social media posts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience working in marketing or advertising
  • Ability to multi-task effectively 
  • Excellent communication skills with potential clients
  • Excellent problem solving skills incase a client is facing an issue
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
